Who can join?
- If you are passionate about helping people
- If you love the outdoors and are comfortable being active in inclement weather
- If you are 18 years or older
- If you enjoy physical activity and meeting new people
- Volunteers train and maintain high standards of search practices set by the Search and Rescue Association of Canada (SARVAC).

All members are required to complete and pass:
- Search and Rescue Basics Course
- First Aid Training
- Annual fitness test
- Criminal record and vulnerable sector record check
- Sign a confidentiality agreement
- Incident Command System 100 course
Other courses are available to members, such as: Team Leader; Search Manager; Instructor and many more.
Training is offered throughout the year as needed.
