While tasked out on a search: We appreciate that often this is the time when the media is most interested in contacting us. During a search, we request that you do not approach any searchers directly; but rather, approach the search manager. You can locate the search manager by looking for our mobile command post.
Please understand that some searchers will be tasked out with special skills such as: tracking or using search dogs. Entering their search area can impact their ability to search the area effectively.
File footage: Please consider approaching us outside of an active search to create some file footage that you may use in future coverage. We are often training and can easily arrange an opportunity. Contact our Executive to arrange a session: executive@lasara.org.
